This version of apple crisp takes on a new appearance with a light, flavorful topping.

old fashioned cooking oats 0.33 cup
Tbsps brown sugar or the equivalent in artificial sweetener 3
Tbsps water 2
cinnamon 1 tsp
fat-free vanilla yogurt, sweetened with artificial sweetener 4 oz
cinnamon 0.25 tsp
ground nutmeg 0.13 tsp
fat-free whipped topping 0.75 cup
1:

Mix apples, oats, brown sugar, water and cinnamon.

2:

Pour apple mixture in a 1-quart microwave-safe bowl.

3:

Cover with wax paper and microwave on high for 5 to 7 minutes, rotating 1/4 turn halfway through cooking time.

Depending on thickness of fruit, cooking time may be longer.
