Try this easy three ingrediant baked squash recipe!

winter squash (about 1 1/4 lb) 1
Smart Balance margarine, melted 2 Tbsp
black pepper 0.13 tsp

Cut squash in half, clean out seeds, brush cut surfaces with melted margarine, and bake cut side down on a cookie sheet at 350°F for 30 minutes.


Turn squash cut side up and continue baking until squash is tender when pierced with a pointed knife.


Baking time ranges from 45 minutes to 1 hour.


Cut through skin into serving-size pieces and season to taste with pepper.


Any kind of winter squash can be used, such as acorn, Hubbard, butternut, or buttercup.
