lb top round or sirloin steak (trimmed of fat) 1
medium clove garlic, minced 2
ground thyme 0.50 tsp
Smart Balance Omega oil 2 tsp
mushrooms 0.50 cup
(14-oz) can no-added-salt stewed tomatoes 1
no-added-salt tomato sauce 8 oz
burgundy cooking wine 0.75 cup

Slice beef very thinly. Sauté meat, garlic, and thyme in hot oil for 3 minutes.


Add mushrooms and cook 1 minute. Add tomatoes, tomato sauce, and wine.


Cook uncovered over medium heat for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.


Garnish with chopped parsley, if desired.
