Beef Teriyaki

You’ll find this to be a favorite for barbecuing. If using wooden skewers, soak them in water first to prevent burning. Chicken, pork or shrimp can be substituted for beef.

lite soy sauce 0.33 cup
water 0.50 cup
Tbsps brown sugar or the equivalent in artificial sweetener 2
ground ginger 1 tsp
garlic powder 0.50 tsp
lb top sirloin, cut into 1" cubes 1
1:

Mix soy sauce, water, brown sugar, ginger and garlic powder in a shallow bowl.

2:

Add beef and marinate for 1-2 hours in the refrigerator.

3:

Start the barbecue. Drain beef and discard marinade.

4:

Thread beef on skewers and place on hot grill.

5:

Close hood and cook for 4 minutes.

6:

Turn the skewers and cook for another 3-6 minutes or until done to your liking.
