| lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts (trimmed of fat) | 1 |
| water | 0.50 cup |
| sodium-free chicken bouillon | 1 Tbsp |
| lb mushrooms, sliced | 1 |
| sliced green onions | 0.50 cup |
| minced garlic | 0.25 cup |
| dried tarragon, crushed | 2 tsp |
| dried thyme, crushed | 2 tsp |
| Black pepper, to taste |

Place chicken in a large, cold nonstick skillet.
2:Add water and bouillon.
3:Cover and cook over medium heat for 8 to 10 minutes or until slightly browned, turning several times. Reduce heat to low.
4:Add mushrooms, green onions, garlic, tarragon, thyme, and pepper.
5:Cover and simmer for 10 minutes; baste and cook 7 minutes longer or until chicken is tender.
6:Transfer chicken to a serving platter.
7:Spoon liquid over chicken and serve.
