Pecan Chicken

Pecans are high in fat, so this recipe only uses a small amount . . . but a small amount provides big flavor!

| cornflake crumbs | 1 cup |
| chopped pecans | 0.50 cup |
| garlic salt | 0.50 tsp |
| onion salt | 0.50 tsp |
| egg | 1 ea |
| egg whites | 2 ea |
| all-purpose flour | 2 Tbsp |
| boneless, skinless chicken breasts | 4 |
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Coat a shallow baking pan with cooking spray.
2:In a medium bowl, combine corn- flake crumbs, pecans, garlic salt, and onion salt. In a separate bowl, lightly beat egg and egg whites. Put the flour in a third bowl.
3:Dip each chicken breast in the flour, then the egg mixture, then in the cornflake and pecan mixture. Coat each side of the chicken breast.
4:Place chicken breasts in the baking pan. Spray chicken lightly with cooking spray and bake 30–35 minutes or until chicken juices run clear.
