Barbecued Chicken

water 1 cup
no-added-salt tomato paste 6 oz
no-salt catsup 0.50 cup
Splenda Brown Sugar Blend 0.25 cup
no-added-salt chili powder 1 Tbsp
lemon juice 1 Tbsp
cider vinegar 1 Tbsp
Smart Balance Omega oil 1 Tbsp
dry mustard 1 tsp
paprika 1 tsp
garlic, minced 1 clove
Pepper, to taste
lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts (trimmed of fat) 1

In a large saucepan, whisk together all ingredients except chicken.


Bring to a boil over high heat and then reduce heat and simmer for about 20 minutes.


Place the chicken on a cooking sheet and coat with the sauce.


Broil under high heat and turn until cooked thoroughly.
