You’ll find this to be a favorite for barbecuing. If using wooden skewers, soak them in water first to prevent burning. Chicken, pork or shrimp can be substituted for beef.
|lite soy sauce||0.33 cup|
|Tbsps brown sugar or the equivalent in artificial sweetener||2|
|ground ginger||1 tsp|
|garlic powder||0.50 tsp|
|lb top sirloin, cut into 1" cubes||1|
Mix soy sauce, water, brown sugar, ginger and garlic powder in a shallow bowl.2:
Add beef and marinate for 1-2 hours in the refrigerator.3:
Start the barbecue. Drain beef and discard marinade.4:
Thread beef on skewers and place on hot grill.5:
Close hood and cook for 4 minutes.6:
Turn the skewers and cook for another 3-6 minutes or until done to your liking.
