Beef Teriyaki

Serving Size: 1/4 recipe
You’ll find this to be a favorite for barbecuing. If using wooden skewers, soak them in water first to prevent burning. Chicken, pork or shrimp can be substituted for beef.

| lite soy sauce | 0.33 cup |
| water | 0.50 cup |
| Tbsps brown sugar or the equivalent in artificial sweetener | 2 |
| ground ginger | 1 tsp |
| garlic powder | 0.50 tsp |
| lb top sirloin, cut into 1" cubes | 1 |
Mix soy sauce, water, brown sugar, ginger and garlic powder in a shallow bowl.
2:Add beef and marinate for 1-2 hours in the refrigerator.
3:Start the barbecue. Drain beef and discard marinade.
4:Thread beef on skewers and place on hot grill.
5:Close hood and cook for 4 minutes.
6:Turn the skewers and cook for another 3-6 minutes or until done to your liking.
