grated Parmesan cheese 0.25 cup

Combine the broth and cornmeal in a medium saucepan.

Bring to a boil, stirring frequently.

Reduce the heat and simmer over low heat until thickened but creamy, about 12 to 15 minutes.

Stir often to prevent sticking.
