Spice-Rubbed Sirloin

These spicy steaks are great for a summer bar-b-q! Mix with whole grain rice or grilled vegetables.

| lbs boneless sirloin steak | 1.50 |
| olive oil | 1 tsp |
| Spice Rub | |
| ground cumin | 1 Tbsp |
| chili powder | 1 Tbsp |
| paprika | 1 Tbsp |
| dried oregano leaves | 1 Tbsp |
| dry mustard | 1 Tbsp |
| fresh-ground black pepper | 1 tsp |
Coat an outdoor grill rack with cooking spray. Preheat to medium high. Trim all the fat from the steak.
2:Combine the spice rub ingredients, and rub about 2 tsp. of it on each side of the steak. (Unused rub mixture can be stored in an airtight container.)
3:Rub the steak with the olive oil.
4:Grill the steak for 8 to 9 minutes per side for rare, or longer to desired doneness. Remove from the grill, let stand for 10 minutes, and slice into thin strips.
