Swordfish with Fresh Tomato Sauce

Keep swordfish juicy and moist with this fresh-from-the-vine tomato sauce.

lb swordfish steaks 1.50
fesh lemon juice 2 Tbsp
olive oil 1 Tbsp
white wine 0.25 cup
garlic cloves, minced 3
scallions, chopped 2
ripe tomatoes, chopped 4
minced thyme 2 tsp

Marinate the fish in the lemon juice and olive oil for 10 minutes at room temperature while you prepare the tomato sauce.


In a heavy skillet, heat the wine. When it is slightly boiling, add the garlic and scallions. Saute for 3 minutes. Add the tomatoes and thyme. Bring to a boil and simmer for 10 minutes.


Remove the swordfish from the marinade. Grill or broil the swordfish for 3-4 minutes per side. Top with fresh tomato sauce to serve.
