French Bread Pizza

Marinara Sauce: low-sodium chicken broth 0.25 cup
Marinara Sauce: small onion, diced 1 ea
Marinara Sauce: garlic, crushed 1 clove
Marinara Sauce: tomato sauce 0.75 cup
Marinara Sauce: dry mustard 1 tsp
Marinara Sauce: lemon juice 4 Tbsp
Marinara Sauce: dried oregano 0.50 tsp
Marinara Sauce: dried parsley flakes 0.50 tsp
Pizza: French bread, sliced 4 inches long by 2 inches thick 4 slices
Pizza: chopped fresh vegetable mixture (green peppers, mushrooms, onion) 2 cup
Pizza: shredded part-skim mozzarella cheese, divided 0.50 cup

Combine all marinara sauce ingredients in saucepan. Simmer 20 minutes, uncovered.


Place ¼ cup marinara sauce on top of each slice of French bread and add ½ cup chopped vegetables and 2 Tbsp mozzarella cheese.


Place under broiler until cheese melts.
