| chopped tomatoes | 2 cups |
| stalked celery, chopped | 0.50 ea |
| green onion, chopped with tops | 4 ea |
| potato, peeled and diced | 1 ea |
| bay leaf | 1 ea |
| salt | 1 tsp |
| thyme | 0.50 tsp |
| caraway seeds | 0.25 tsp |
| shredded cabbage | 3 cups |
| chopped cooked chicken | 1 cup |
| lemon juice | 1 Tbsp |
| sugar | 2 tsp |
In a large soup pot, combine the water, broth, tomatoes, celery, onion, potato, bay leaf, salt, thyme, and caraway seeds.
2:Simmer for 30 minutes to 1 hour. Add the cabbage, chicken, lemon juice, and sugar. Remove the bay leaf and serve.
