water 0.50 cup
low-fat baked tortilla chips 12
lettuce leaves, medium head shredded 1 ea
tomatoes, diced and seeded 3 ea
sour cream, low-fat 6
reduced-fat Cheddar cheese, shredded 6

Brown the beef in a nonstick skillet unitl it crumbles. Drain the fat from the beef. Add the taco seasoning, salsa, and water. Reduce the heat and simmer.


Layer the salad on 12 plates in this order; chips, meat, lettuce, tomato, sour cream, and cheese. Add taco sauce, if desired.
